MMCO 15th Anniversary Concert Season brings the best of classical music to Filipinos

It was a magical moment when Metro Manila Concert Orchestra (MMCO) presented a show entitled “The Romantic Rachmaninoff” last August 7, 2015 at the Meralco Theater where classical music aficionados gathered to witness a musical presentation like no other.

Metro Manila Concert Orchestra is now celebrating its 15th anniversary with a season featuring outstanding talents in the field of classical music. The opening concert show of the MMCO anniversary season featured magnificent personalities such as Asia’s Got Talent Filipino finalist Gerphil Flores, flutist- Crystal Rodis Concepcion and world class pianist Aima Labra Makk.

The Meralco Theater beamed brightly with music being played by Metro Manila Concert Orchestra and guest artists who rendered performances highlighting the timeless compositions of the great Rachmaninoff.

 For the second show that is scheduled on September 18, 2015 at the Meralco Theater, Metro Manila Concert Orchestra will feature the musical genius of composers Prokofiev, Schubert, Kasilag, Glasunov, and Chabrier being played by no less than the piano maestro himself Raul Sunico together with lead conductor Prof. Chino Toledo of MMCO.  



This MMCO concert dubbed as THE POWERFUL PROKOFIEV is a musical event that should not be missed by classical music enthusiasts. This show is also recommended for people- adults and kids alike who are newly discovering the beauty of classical music in the Philippines.
